D-Link DWA-192 WiFi Test on DIR-880L (Rev.A1)

WiFi testing based on iPerf3 with the following setup :

Note : The following test was based on my devices with specific settings (OS/software/version etc) and environment setup.  The wireless test results may vary depending on device/hardware/software/setting/environment.  This test is meant for my own reference only and should not be used for any benchmarking or comparison purposes.

 

The router's FW version, wireless and UniFi setup as follows:

Test scenario & condition :

  • PC & laptop runs on current latest Windows 10 64-bit with up-to-date updates
  • PC & laptop uses current latest iPerf3.1.3
  • 1 PC connect through the router's LANport and run iPerf3 as server, AntiVirus & Windows Firewall turn-off, no other apps running
  • The router is connected to UniFi internet during testing
  • PC/laptop will connect to the wifi, one device one band at a time, then run iPerf3 as client for 2 tests, normal and reverse (-R) test to the PC iPerf3 server
  • PC spec which is running iPerf3 as server :
