PROXMOX Virtual Environment for OpenWRT & MikroTik CHR

Instead of cracking head to find/build those NIC drivers and also continous update/upgrade headace, it's easier to just implement bare-metal virtualization layer to handle those drivers headace, throw in OpenWRT or MikroTik CHR to run on it will do 🙂

After setting up the current latest PROXMOX VE 7.2 and run some updates based on the "Free-Subscription" source, plus some changes here and there, can recognise/work on both Intel I225-V and I226-V 2.5GbE ports, created/tested run instances on both OpenWRT-22.03.0 and MikroTik-CHR RouterOS-7.5, iPerf-ing some throughput tests on LAN<~>WAN 2.5G ports without any issue thus far. This has become my daily driver as the main router gateway, swapping to use either one as and when I like to 🤓
