RB750/750G - Vlans Trunking

Thank you and credit goes to LYN member JinXXX for the first vlans trunking by using both RB750 & RB250GS which was posted HERE initially ! Laughing
I followed his guide and managed to setup the trunk and tested on both RB250GS & TD-W8960N.
The whole idea is to trunk both vlan 500 & 600 using a single LAN line, so the other end can enjoy both internet & IPTV ! Cool

Overall connection diagram as follows:

RB750/750G Configuration - Must complete the UniFi Setup Before Proceeding

Go to "Interfaces --> VLAN Tab", add the following 2 vlans on Port5 for trunking purpose

Go to "Bridge --> Bridge tab", add a bridge for LAN

On "Ports tab", add 2 ports (Port2 & vlan.500-Trunk) to LAN bridge

Go to "IP --> DHCP", select the existing DHCP and change the interface to LAN

Setup completed, the Port5 now carry both vlan.500 & 600 trunk on bridge mode, ready to connect with the following device.

RB250GS Configuration - Must complete the UniFi Setup Before Proceeding

Note: Remember to re-assigned the IP for this device (eg, 192.168.88.2) same subnet with the RB750/750G

Go to "VALN tab", noticed Port4 (vlan.500) & Port5 (vlan.600) should have been setup already, now just enable Port2 & 3 for vlan.500 so total 3 ports can be used for internet.

Go to "VALNs tab", assign vlans on ports as follows

Setup completed, Port1 is ready to connect with RB750's Port5, refer to the above connection diagram.

TP-Link TD-W8960N Configuration - Must complete the UniFi Setup Before Proceeding

Note: Remember to re-assigned the IP for this device (eg, 192.168.88.2) same subnet with the RB750/750G

Go to "Advanced Setup --> WAN Service", select the vlan.500 interface and click "Edit"

Edit the vlan.500 interface as bridge mode, click "Next"

Re-confirm setup, click "Apply/Save"

The WAN setup should be as follow

Go to "Advanced Setup --> LAN", change the device's IP (eg, 192.168.88.2) same subnet with the RB750, also disable the DHCP server.

Setup completed, Port1 is ready to connect with RB750's Port5, refer to the above connection diagram.
