CANSONIC Car DVR : CDV-600 Twinscam

In-car video recording is getting common & popular in recent years, especially in Russia, Korea, Taiwan & Singapore.
(Note: if you search YouTube on related car incidents/accidents, you'll see mostly from Russia ....)
But somehow such in-car recording device & concept seem not popular here, may be not enough awareness yet .....

I personally think that it's important to have such a device to record down everything while we are on the road, it can serve various purposes like security measure, evidence, track journey, etc.

Previously I bought a rather cheap in-car DVR (dual-cam) from ShenZhen just to test/play around, it's quite basic and the image quality is so-so only.
I didn't want to buy those expensive type from China for worrying about support.  Therefore I have been trying to look for a better quality model locally .......

Recently (around end of Nov'2012),  I saw this nice looking Taiwan brand CANSONIC in-car recording device at Harvey Norman.
Actually I saw this brand before when I was working in Taiwan previously, it seem quite famous & popular in Taiwan as I can see most taxi over there use it.
I'm rather surprise & glad to see it start selling in Malaysia now ....

There are few models on sales, single cam has both 720P & 1080P quality, whereas twins cam only has 720P quality.

Standard package comes with 1x car holder, 1 x car charger (notice the cable is quite long), 1 x USB cable

The device use MicroSD card, preferably Class10 for faster recording speed

Before start to record, since the device need to record from dual camera in 720P HD quality, it is very important to prepare a fast speed high capacity MicroSD card.
I use a Transcend Class10 16GB MicroSD, insert-in power-on and power-on, it will prompt to format the card.
